Sam Hendy signs for MTFC

We are delighted to announce that Sam Hendy has signed for Melksham Town FC. Sam is a midfielder but is very versatile and can play anywhere. Hendy previously played for Weston Super Mare after leaving Forest Green Rovers.

Richard Fey commented, ‘I’m really pleased to get Sam over the line. He was really keen to join and liked what we had to say. He is another player at the right age and as a club what we’re trying to build. He can play anywhere on the pitch and has great energy and eye for goal. He has come out of the pro game at Forest Green and then done well at Weston and now I’m looking forward to working with him.’

Sam commented, ‘I’m buzzing to sign and can’t wait to get started. As soon as I saw the facilities and everything involved with the club I wanted to be a part of it. I’ve heard great things about this club especially the supporters and I can’t wait to play in front of them.’
