Mark Collier

Manager

Mark is an experienced and successful manager who previously led Chippenham Town to their highest position in the football pyramid following promotion to the National League South, after winning the Southern Premier League. 

 

Mark has also managed locally in Wiltshire with Swindon Supermarine famously leading them to the FA Cup First Round where they played Football League side Colchester United.

Luke Ballinger

Assistant Manager

​Melksham Town legend Luke Ballinger re-joined the club from Corsham a couple of months into last season and has been in fine form as Town’s top scorer in all competitions so far this season. Not only is Luke a former England Futsal captain, the striker also has a gift for scoring goals; be it a 30-yard screamer or being in the right place at the right time in the box.

Dave Thompson

Player Coach

Thommo is a local lad who has played nearly 400 games for his home town club, whilst also plying his trade with Frome Town and Paulton Rovers amongst others. Combative and physical he is a natural defender and someone who always competes and gives 100%. Appointed as a player coach in November 2022 he will look to bring his experience and leadership in his new role.

Defender

Aaron has proven himself in the centre of a solid Town defence, cementing his place as a regular starter under Rich Fey. As well as putting in admirable defensive efforts, Aaron also proves a threat in the opposition box, popping up with a goal for Town earlier in the season.

Albie Hopkins

Midfielder

Since joining the club in 2019, Albie has made a name for himself as a scorer of important goals. Quick and versatile, Albie can be utilised on either side of the pitch to make full use of his pace and skill. Formerly of Oxford United, Albie has football league pedigree to his career and the Melksham fans get to see this anytime he has the ball at his feet.

Chris Zebroski

Forward

A local player who has played in the English League system for a number of years, naming Plymouth Argyle, Torquay United, Swindon Town, Millwall and Bristol Rovers amongst a host of other clubs. He recently enjoyed a very successful spell at Chippenham playing in the National League South. A threat with his presence, pace and guile, Chris will be looking to establish himself at Melksham and add to his goal tally.

Dan McBeam

Dan McBeam

Midfielder

Dan is a Bristol local who has played for a number of clubs in his career. He is a direct and skilful player who has pace to burn. He has scored and created goals during his time at Melksham and is certainly a player who is likely to make an impact wherever he plays.

James Guthrie

James Guthrie

Defender

James is a cultured left sided player who is best known for spending nearly ten years at Chippenham Town as they progressed in the Southern League before gaining promotion to the National League South. He is a consistent player equally at home as a full back or pushing on supporting the attack. A welcome addition to the squad for the new season.

Joe Romanski

Joe Romanski

Defender

Joe is a popular figure at Melksham having spent time at the club on loan whilst a professional at Swindon Town. He scored a number of vital goals including a fine strike against Frome Town on Boxing Day 2019. He has since played in Poland and recently returned to England. A strong and versatile player who can play in a number of roles.

Ollie Webb

Ollie Webb

Defender

Ollie has been at the club since 2017 and is a local lad who always gives 100% when he pulls on the shirt. Versatile, Ollie can play in both midfield and defence, making him a valuable player for the squad, covering wherever needs covering. His aerial presence is also a key part of his game, giving Melksham another dynamic to their game plan.

Reuben is a product of the youth set up at Melksham and a local lad who has played for the under 18’s and impressed in the Reserves at the start of the 2022-23 season. He made his first team debut against Wimborne in October 2022.

Sam Hendy

Sam Hendy

Midfielder

Sam offers a dynamic and hard running dimension to the Melksham midfield. The former Forest Green Rovers man is an accomplished set piece taker and has the ability to play in a deep or advanced position when occupying midfield.

Aaron Witchell

Aaron was brought to the club in November 2022 after starring for neighbours Bradford Town in the Hellenic Premier League. Primarily a defender, Aaron is equally comfortable in midfield and will be looking to establish himself at Melksham.

Ben Brooks

Forward

Ben joined the club from Cinderford Town earlier in the season and was Cinderford’s top scorer. He is a natural finisher and scored on his debut against Bradford Town in the Wiltshire Shield. Town will hope he can continue his fine start to the year in Melksham colours.

Conor Thompson

Connor is a new signing during the summer having previously had spells with Swindon Town, Newport County and Torquay United. He has most recently played with Wiltshire teams at Chippenham Town and Highworth Town. Looking to cement himself as number one during the coming season.

Jaiden Pearce

The youngster is a product of the extensive youth setup at Melksham Town and has played age group football rising through the ranks to make his First Team debut in 2022. He is quick, powerful and quickly settled into the side as a regular towards the end of last season. He will be looking to build his experience this year and cement his place in the squad.

Jay Malshanskyj

Jay is quick and creative, Jay finds himself finding space all over the pitch, whilst also not being afraid of taking a man on with skill and pace. A hard working youngster who was with Forest Green Rovers previously, along with spells at Weston Super Mare and Slimbridge.

Mac Boyd

Mac joined the club on loan from Bristol City and is a young and exciting keeper. Mac is a young and imposing keeper who has previously been at Exeter City. He is good with both his feet and hands, and is looking to gain experience during his time in Wiltshire.

Ralph Graham

Midfielder

The energetic midfielder has proven to be a vital asset as the fixtures come thick and fast. Whether coming off the bench or in the starting side, Ralph always has the potential to change a game with his attacking intent. A former Swindon Town professional, he has also played in the National League with Hungerford Town.

Ryan Morgan

Defender

Ryan joined the club in the summer of 2021 and has impressed in the many minutes he played in preseason. Physical, direct, and hard-working, Ryan has established himself as one of the top defenders in the club – with the ability to play anywhere across the back line. Not afraid to get forward, the former Highworth man has a left foot which can provide quality delivery into the box as well as a powerful strike from distance. A strong player and our Captain.

Sayeed Ibrahim

Sayeed Ibrahim

Defender

11 years on from his debut for the club in 2011, Sayeed has asserted himself as a Melksham legend. A local lad who has shown incredible loyalty and admirable dependability, as well as being a role model for younger players in the club, and this has cemented himself as a fan favourite within the black and yellow family. Pacey, ever-present and a long throw that causes defences all kinds of issues, Sayeed is a real asset to the squad.
