Mark Collier

Manager

Mark is an experienced and successful manager who previously led Chippenham Town to their highest position in the football pyramid following promotion to the National League South, after winning the Southern Premier League. 

Mark has also managed locally in Wiltshire with Swindon Supermarine famously leading them to the FA Cup Second Round where they played Football League side Colchester United.

Luke Ballinger

Assistant Manager

​Melksham Town legend Luke Ballinger re-joined the club from Corsham a couple of months into last season and has been in fine form as Town’s top scorer in all competitions so far this season. Not only is Luke a former England Futsal captain, the striker also has a gift for scoring goals; be it a 30-yard screamer or being in the right place at the right time in the box.

Dave Thompson

Player Coach

Thommo is a local lad who has played nearly 400 games for his home town club, whilst also plying his trade with Frome Town and Paulton Rovers amongst others. Combative and physical he is a natural defender and someone who always competes and gives 100%. Appointed as a player coach in November 2022 he will look to bring his experience and leadership in his new role.

Aaron Witchell

Defender

Aaron was brought to the club in November 2022 after starring for neighbours Bradford Town in the Hellenic Premier League. Primarily a defender, Aaron is equally comfortable in midfield and will be looking to establish himself at Melksham.

Ben Brooks

Ben Brooks

Forward

Ben joined the club from Cinderford Town earlier in the season and was Cinderford’s top scorer. He is a natural finisher and scored on his debut against Bradford Town in the Wiltshire Shield. Town will hope he can continue his fine start to the year in Melksham colours.

Joe Romanski

Joe Romanski

Defender

Joe is a popular figure at Melksham having spent time at the club on loan whilst a professional at Swindon Town. He scored a number of vital goals including a fine strike against Frome Town on Boxing Day 2019. He has since played in Poland and recently returned to England. A strong and versatile player who can play in a number of roles.

Reuben is a product of the youth set up at Melksham and a local lad who has played for the under 18’s and impressed in the Reserves at the start of the 2022-23 season. He made his first team debut against Wimborne in October 2022.

Sayeed Ibrahim

Sayeed Ibrahim

Defender

11 years on from his debut for the club in 2011, Sayeed has asserted himself as a Melksham legend. A local lad who has shown incredible loyalty and admirable dependability, as well as being a role model for younger players in the club, and this has cemented himself as a fan favourite within the black and yellow family. Pacey, ever-present and a long throw that causes defences all kinds of issues, Sayeed is a real asset to the squad.

Albie Hopkins

Midfielder

Since joining the club in 2019, Albie has made a name for himself as a scorer of important goals. Quick and versatile, Albie can be utilised on either side of the pitch to make full use of his pace and skill. Formerly of Oxford United, Albie has football league pedigree to his career and the Melksham fans get to see this anytime he has the ball at his feet.

Jaiden Pearce

The youngster is a product of the extensive youth setup at Melksham Town and has played age group football rising through the ranks to make his First Team debut in 2022. He is quick, powerful and quickly settled into the side as a regular towards the end of last season. He will be looking to build his experience this year and cement his place in the squad.

Ralph Graham

Midfielder

The energetic midfielder has proven to be a vital asset as the fixtures come thick and fast. Whether coming off the bench or in the starting side, Ralph always has the potential to change a game with his attacking intent. A former Swindon Town professional, he has also played in the National League with Hungerford Town.

Sam Hendy

Sam Hendy

Midfielder

Sam offers a dynamic and hard running dimension to the Melksham midfield. The former Forest Green Rovers man is an accomplished set piece taker and has the ability to play in a deep or advanced position when occupying midfield.
