Jay is a former Forest Green Rovers, Weston Super Mare and Cirencester attacking player who last season scored 5 in 6 appearances for Slimbridge.
Rich Fey commented, 'Jay has been on my radar for a while now and having spoken to him last pre-season, I tried my luck again this time and he showed great keenness to join. Jay was outstanding against us at Slimbridge last season and he knows most of our lads and is again the right age for what I'm trying to build here. With 8 of the squad from the final league game we played moving on it's been more important to get the replacements in now ready for our first friendly next Friday against Bristol Rovers.'
