The Premiership comes to MTFC

Manchester City FC Premiership Trophy Tour

Following Manchester City Football Club’s record breaking 2017 / 18 campaign the club launched their Centurions Trophy Tour, taking the Premier League Trophy and Carabao Cup to 28 cities, in 14 Countries, across 6 continents in 100 days. And now the trophies are heading to Melksham thanks to an event arranged by the Bath and Wilts Supporters Branch of MCFC, on Friday 18 January, at Melksham Town Football Club. Also on display will be the FA Community Shield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to come and see these trophies up close and to take photographs or selfies. The event will run from 7.30 pm through to 10.30 pm and all are welcome to attend, no matter which club you might support.

MCFC make no charge to their supporter branches for these events, each branch is asked to raise money for MCFC’s official charity, City in the Community. CITC runs a series of award-winning programmes focussing on Health, Education and Inclusion within the greater Manchester area, spanning over 13,000 project hours each year.

The Branch will ask for donations for those wishing to view the trophies and take photographs.

The Branch are very grateful for the support given by Melksham Town Football Club in organising this event. Their Bar will be open throughout the event.

About the Bath and Wilts Branch The Branch was formed in Melksham in 2001 with the first meeting held at the old Conigre Ground, with around a dozen loyal supporters in attendance. Whilst some members have come and gone over the years, the branch has steadily grown and currently has around 60 members. Matches are attended both home and away, including European games. The branch meets once a month at alternate venues in Melksham and Bath. New members are always welcome.
